Electronics and Communication forms the core of the curriculum.
The program integrates theoretical study with practical courses in several specialization tracks where students are encouraged to develop knowledge and skills in both spheres.
The course is designed to provide in-depth knowledge of emerging technologies in Electronics Engineering like Advanced Microprocessors, Digital Circuits and System Design, Computer Hardware and Communication Engineering.
Accordingly, the department has well-established laboratories in allied and specialized areas such as Communication, Microprocessor, Project and Medical Electronics.
Steps have been initiated towards establishing VLSI and Embedded Systems Laboratories to facilitate the learning process.
