The trust was established in the year 1981 under the aegis of Late. Kurunji venkataramana Gowda, Former union Minister and Founder Chairperson of the Trust, whose vision was to provide quality education in Science, Engineering, Management and Technology with the goal of uplifting people in the backward region of Northern Karnataka. The Trust, governed by a Boad of Trustees, is engaged in several welfare activitoes, committed to the betterment of the rural community, socially and economically weaker sections and the unemployed youth.

Vision: Our Vision is to be in the forefront of development in education at the level of medical, technical, both at primary, secondary schhol, degree, post graduation and to reach the higher standards in par with other trusts, with a social economical uplift, in this backward region of Karnataka.

Mission: Our Mission as a Trust is to provide quality education, human service, uplifting of rural people, which enables them to become loveable citizens of the country. Provide the best infrastructure deemed suffient for building up a center of excellence.
